An obsessive audio surveillance expert accepts a deadly mission to infiltrate and record a meeting at the infamous Cobra Club. When he crosses paths with a mysterious assassin, he must question the nature of his mission and confront the impending danger that awaits.

TAPE 108 was my VCE media final project completed over the course of my graduating year of high school. After releasing online in October, it was accepted into the VCAA's Top Screen program for 2024, where it ultimately won the People's Choice award with 311 audience votes. I also recorded and produced an accompanying soundtrack of short 1-minute instrumentals used to score the film. The short was completed on an almost-zero budget using mostly adapted vintage / CCTV-style lenses for a harsh, gritty look.
